Another graduate of the new decade!

Caitlin is a senior! She is also stunningly beautiful and I had an amazing time photographing her.
She and her boyfriend John were great models. I made them climb up rickety staircases and lean against dirty buildings.

It was cold and windy but the lighting was perfect for photographing today. There will be snow on the ground before we know it!

Autumn is here!

Its here! My favorite season! This time of year in Northern Michigan is so beautiful! The colors are always so amazing, especially for photographing. Now if the rain would just hold up for a few days!
Last week the weather was nice and I photographed Layla and her mom Ashley. She is such a beautiful little girl!
I had so much fun following her around and just watching her interact with Ashley.

How fun is this?

Becky + Andrew 9.12.09

Last Saturday my gorgeous friend Becky got married. I got lucky enough to photograph it! :)

Becky and I met a little over two years ago. We worked in a restaraunt together and became good friends while her cousin and I were roomates. Becky is probably the sweetest person you will ever meet. When Becky introduced Andrew to our group of friends, we all knew right away that they would get married. They are a perfect match. You can spend only a few moments with them and tell that they are absolutely in love. My goal when I go to a wedding is to capture the couple's relationship in a photograph. With Becky and Andrew it was so simple; just look at the way these two look at eachother.

Dave + Laurie 7.25.09

This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Dave and Laurie's wedding at Timberlee Hills in T.C. The wedding was beautiful and even though the forecast was calling for rain it turned out to be a perfect day! I have known Dave's family for a few years and was so excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding. The wedding party was huge and, well, party is the best way to describe them! As you can see they were a good time!!

Even I was out on the dance floor before the night was over!

They are such a great couple and we wish them all the happiness in the world! Congrats!

For those of you checking for their photos on the proofing site, I won't be posting them until the newlyweds return from their honeymoon. Its only fair that they get to see them first! :)

Photographing in TC is so fun!

This weekend I photographed some old friends here in beautiful Traverse City! The most difficult part is picking just one place to photograph! There are so many places to go! The Nemshick family has some property where they planted cherry trees so we got some great shots early Friday morning there. Phil & Christina were celebrating their two year anniversary of being together so week photographed them on the beach and at the Clinch Park Marina.

Welcome back sun and fudgies!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Traverse City is buzzing with cherrys and tourists this week for the National Cherry Festival. Traffic may be crazy but I honestly cannot complain. It makes the town a lot of money and if you can get downtown a few times it is a lot of fun! I spent Saturday and Sunday afternoon at the volleyball tournament cheering on some friends. The weather was beautiful and I may have even gotten a little sun on my skin!

A Fun Saturday!

The party at the Holiday Inn was a great sucess! It did rain a little but that didn't stop the party! The count is not final but the Parrot Heads are estimating about $7,000 raised for charity! That's awesome! Thanks to everyone who came out! I had a blast! Here are some of the highlights of the day...

A great band!

Some of the girls from La Senorita got to dunk their manager!

Tug of war! KHQ teamed up with The Zone and took on the Holiday Inn staff.

The margaritas were excellent!!

Waistin' away on Grand Traverse Bay!

Delicious burgers and dogs on the grill!!

Partying with a cause!

Today I will be at the Holiday Inn West Bay to photograph the Parrot Head Club's annual "Waistin' Away On Grand Traverse Bay" Beach Bash! The party will benefit the Goodwill Inn and Habitat for Humanity. It should be a great time with live music and auctions. They will be raffling off all kinds of prizes. A few people will be in the dunk tank and there will be a corporate tug-of-war. The party starts a 3 and ends around 11. The weather looks great so we will be on the patio! Stop by and see us! Check back to see some pictures of the event!

Give 5

In a tough economy I know it is hard to give generously but giving just $5 is enough if you encourage others to do the same. Please give and pass this video on to your friends.

I'm Here!

Hello Bloggers!

I have arrived! This is a very exciting time for me. Kudoz Portraits is in it's beginning stages and things are going very well. I have weddings, seniors and families lined up for this summer. I have done a lot of work for other photographers so my main goal right now is to expand my own portfolio enough to have a great website running by the time fall gets here. Trust me, you will be the first to know when it is launched.

Book your session now while I am still offering extra low, start up prices! I have dates left for summer weddings. Mention that you've read my blog and I'll give you 10% off your package! Seniors, don't forget, fall is approaching fast. If want to make your yearbook deadline you should book soon!
